Collaboration is about mahi ngātahi – working together towards the specific goal of supporting learner success.

Morning Sessions - PECHA KUCHA
30 second slots for people presenting to give 4 bullet points of what they will cover in their round table discussion.

Purpose
Introduction to discussion topics (on Inquiry, Curriculum, Wellbeing etc.) To be led by Principals, WSL’s & Teachers. Approximately 20 choices.

11.15am
Round Table Discussions (3 x 10 mins, 5 mins gaps between) Pecha Kucha

Purpose
Teachers learn from other teachers. To aid new learning and to build collaboration across the CoL. Teachers choose the 3 topics that interest them most. 

12.00pm
Collaboration Activity for the Whole Kahui Ako
Tipu Maia Collaboration (Cultural Narrative Journey/Inquiry)

Purpose
To facilitate conversations across the CoL. To aid collaboration between schools. To get teachers to think of similarities in schools across the CoL.

12.30pm
LUNCH - Networking Time

1.00pm
Afternoon Session - PLG Group Development
  • Creating collaboration across Tipu Maia
  • PLGs developed (themes from Inquiries/interests)
  • PLGs will be created by Teachers/WSLs, and then this will focus on those needs

Purpose
To create collaboration across Tipu Maia in order to improve student learning.

Final words/Lucky Prize Draw
