Collaboration is about mahi ngātahi – working together towards the specific goal of supporting learner success.

Overview of the Day
9.00am - Networking Time - Tea, Coffee & Finger Food
9.30am - Official Welcome
9.45am - KeyNote - Tim Bell (Uni of Canterbury)
Purpose
To talk about … Connection and Collaboration (secondary and Primary teachers) with links to Digital Curriculum

10.45am - Kai and Whanaungatanga
11.15am - Morning Session - PLG Group Development 
  • Creating connections and collaboration across Tipu Maia
  • PLGs will be established by Teachers/WSLs, and then this will focus on these needs
Purpose
To create make connections and collaborate across Tipu Maia in order to improve student learning. To use the collective knowledge across Tipu Maia to grow great learners.

12.15pm - LUNCH - Networking Time

12.45pm - Afternoon Sessions - PECHA KUCHA
30 second slots for people presenting to give 4 bullet points of what they will cover in their round table discussion.
Purpose
Introduction to discussion topics (on Inquiry, Curriculum, Wellbeing etc.) To be led by Principals, WSL’s & Teachers. Approximately 30 choices.

1.00pm - Round Table Discussions (2 x 15 mins, 3 mins gaps between) 
Purpose
Teachers learn from other teachers. To aid new learning and to build collaboration across the CoL. Teachers choose the 2 topics that interest them most. 

1.40pm - Presenters swap over (2 x 15 mins, 3 mins gaps between) Pecha Kucha
Purpose
Teachers learn from other teachers. To aid new learning and to build collaboration across the CoL. Teachers choose the 2 topics that interest them most. 

2.20pm - Final words, Thank you’s and Lucky Prize Draw
